- あらいいくのすけ【荒井郁之助】(1835-1909) 明治政府の測量・気象の技術官僚。 江戸の生まれ。 旧幕臣。 昌平坂学問所・長崎海軍伝習所に学ぶ。 官軍に抗して敗れ， 下獄。 のち許されて開拓使出仕。 内務省測量局長， 中央気象台初代台長。
